There’s A Lot Of Truth In What He Said- Nigerian Journalist Throws Weight Behind Shatta Wale- Watch
A Nigerian journalist has thrown his weight behind Shatta Wale after he launched a scathing attack on Nigerian artistes moments after he filled the Accra Sports Stadium to full capacity during his recent Freedom Wave concert.
The journalist whose name we have not established yet said what Wale said is the absolute truth and provided theories to substantiate his position.
He said indeed Nigerian artistes are raking huge dividends from their fanbase in Ghana and other African countries but don’t create the same ambiance for other artists elsewhere to benefit in their own territory.
The young man further said Nigerians have a lot of connections which is why their music dominates other African countries but that doesn’t mean others from the continent have nothing to offer.
He emphasized that Nigerians can also support GH artistes just like they are getting premised on what Wale said. Watch the video below;
God no go shame us ….These are the real people I see in Nigeria …When people talk like this ,I see God blessing them soon 🙏Thank you Mr Journalist 🙏🇬🇭🌎 https://t.co/Rj3sABBHON

Meanwhile, Following Shatta Wale’s infamous outburst aimed at Nigerian artistes, a lot of Naija celebs have come out to join the conversation.
One of them, Yul Edochie- a fine actor and filmmaker who is known widely in Africa including Ghana has reminded the Ghanaian Dancehall that he’s a fan of his music hence it’s unfortunate that he stooped so low by insulting Nigerian artistes.
The actor further said Shatta Wale’s historic collabo with R&B superstar Beyonce is always on repeat in his car which invariably is a form of support he also gives him for which reason his premise for the insult is baseless.
He said this in an open letter he addressed to Shatta Wale on Insagram;
Dear Shatta Wale, coming out to say ‘F**k Nigerian artistes’ is extreme and too low for a man like you. That’s hate.
I remember when Nigerian movie producers were giving all the lead roles to Ghanaian actors a few years back, no Nigerian ever came out to say ‘F**k Ghanaian actors’.
I have lots of fans from Ghana who send me goodwill messages daily, inviting me to Ghana and I appreciate all of them.
I’m a fan of your music.
Your track with Beyonce is always on repeat in my car. No matter what is pissing you off, a man like you with a large fan base should be using it to promote peace and unity among Africans and the rest of the world. You should apologise for such a statement.
