Sarkodie Pulls Out Of ‘Reign’ Album Launch Because Of Shatta Wale’s Insults

Information we have picked from random discussions on social media has it that Sarkodie, one of the main headliners of the Reign album, won’t partake in the official launch.

Shatta Wale insulted Sarkodie for reason that Sarkodie is not supporting his agenda but talk about issues bothering the country.

It all started after his recent interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM where Shatta Wale revealed that he is not going to work or do anything free for his friend Sarkodie again.

Shatta Wale started attacking Sarkodie’s personality revealing that he is a very good friend of Sarkodie but he felt disrespected when the rapper failed to allow them to shoot the video for their hit single “Megye Wo girl” which was a banging tune after it was released but he went to Nigeria to shoot videos with artiste he doesn’t even know very well.

He also revealed that in 2014 when he featured Sarkodie on ‘Dancehall Commando’ he was expecting ‘rich’ Sarkodie to sponsor a music video shoot for the song since he was ‘broke’ at that time but it didn’t happen.

These two instances we believe has made Sarkodie pull out of the Reign album launch although his name has been on the bill.

Shatta Wale mentioned that Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Samini, Yaa Pono and a couple of other musicians will grace the occasion but judging from the foregoing, we doubt if this will materialize.

The Reign album launch is going down live at the Fantasy Dome at Accra International Trade Fair Centre.
